Things I've Been Loving And Using.

Hey guys, I just thought of sharing things I have been loving this month.Basically Make-up and Body wise, well I have got only one product for the body but I am thinking of doing a post Body wise.So yeah, let's get started!

1.

I'll start off with the one I like the most, like more than a lot.
It is this cream from  Yves rocher . It's a Candied Orange & Cinnamon Hand Cream. Yeah, I know we are not in Winter here , but why not use it. It smells incredible! AND it also moisturizes the hand which is great for me as I have dry hands. It's also limited edition one, so you can grab one as it
is great value for money.

2.
Look at this Yves Rocher palette!

It's just cute! Well I've been using mostly the golden ones because the blue smoke is not a colour that I actually wear on my eyes. But yeah , I've been obsessed with the Bronze and Beige colour.
This is how it looks when I wear them.

Firstly I've used the beige colour all over my eyelid.

Then I've used the Bronze one on the outer eyelid and blended it in.

Taadaa,It's done.I'm not a make up professional , I like creating looks and playing with these colours.

3.
This is the Blue Smoke Kohl from Yves Rocher . I really love it as a kohl rather than the eyeshadow since it is more of a dark blue near to black. It applies well but I would have liked it more with a sharpener! But I still love it though.

4.
It is an eyeliner from Yves Rocher as well. I like it a lot and have been using it so much lately and it's on its last leg.I'll have to grab one soon. Its application lasts long and it is great value for money as well.

5.
Lastly ,it is a roller from Yves Rocher, similar here.
It smells nice and leaves you fresh.

Hope you've liked this  post. Please give the blog a follow and comment down below things that you've been loving!
Ciao!

2.Preheat oven to 190 degrees.Spread some flour on the worktop and roll out the dough with a rolling pin.Using cookie cutters, cut out shapes and carefully put them on on a lined or greased cooking tray.Put the cookies into the oven and bake for about 10-12 minutes until they are lightly golden brown.

On the LAND of NEVERLAND. (Pont Bon Dieu cave)

Sundays are meant to relax , walk outside ,enjoy the nature and also to tap yourself on the shoulder to get some ice cream since it is summer. haha!
So, this is what I did this Sunday and I landed on  the land of NEVERLAND!
It's a place that I can say near to my house.(maybe, haha)
I've been to La Nicoliere many times. I know this place since my childhood but never have I ever known that there are breathtaking caves on the road to La Nicoliere. I knew there were caves but didn't know that they were that breathtaking. So be ready to be bombarded with loads of photos I took.Enjoy!!
On the way. (Pont Bon Dieu)

Stairs to go down the cave.

Tricky stairs!

(I was already tired climbing down the stairs!)

Then, ofcourse we got out and went to La Nicoliere.

Summer Cherry cake.

Since my garden is overflown with juicy cherries at the moment,I decided to make a cherry cake.Because why not! With the lead up to summer, all I've been craving is a summer fruit cake.
So I'm listing below all the ingredients and the method I've used.Let me know if you bake it, I'm sure you will not regret it.

INGREDIENTS:

1 1/2 cups all purpose flour(You can use whole wheat flour to make it healthier.)
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/4 cup granulated sugar.(I used brown sugar)
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
2 eggs,separated
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 tablespoon butter
350 gram of cherries,drained(about 1 cup)

METHOD:

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees celsius.
Grease the pan with butter.
Stir the flour and baking powder together in a mixing bowl.
Separate the eggs.Put the white into a a separate bowl for beating later.
In another mixing bowl, beat the egg yolks with an electric mixer.Add the sugar and beat.
Add the yogurt to the eggs and sugar and beat in.
Add the oil and beat in.
Stir in the dry ingredients.
Using clean beaters, beat the egg whites until they hold peaks and stay where they are when turned upside down.
Use a spatula to fold the beaten egg whites into the batter.
Gently fold in th drained cherries.
Transfer the batter into into the prepared pan and place into  the preheated oven.
Bake for 30 minutes or until the toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Remove and let cool.

SUMMER = CHERRIES

When you say SUMMER then you must definitely say CHERRIES! YAY!( haha.)
This is one of the things that i love about  summer, fresh fruits, succulent fruits that is summer fruits.

I love picking fruits and picking cherries from the garden at the back of my house is a must for me.
This is the time of the year in Mauritius where cherries are available.
The weather was not that good in the morning, but it didn't hamper me from getting my basket and  go into the garden to pick some of the ripe ones.Although there were drips of water falling on my face while I was struggling to pick the ones that was on the upper part of the tree,it was FUN!

I was successful in my attempt of trying to pick cherries from the upper part of the tree and the result was  fruitful. I got a basket full of fruits(haha),yeah a basket full of cherries.I was the happiest!
I love having them in my cereal in the morning or make crumble with them.
What's your favourite fruit ?
